Happy 21st!

On February 2nd, 1986, Matthew Shawn Woods was born at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Herts in the UK. Until the tender age of 15 months, he lived at 22 The Mixie, Stotfold, Nr. Hitchin, Herts. What more appropriate than to return to your roots in your 21st year! So that is what Matt, Kyle, Mike and I did in May 2007 in honour of Matt's 21st. We had a fabulous time! We stayed in Stevenage and took the train into London every day and explored this fine city. We hit all of the touristy things, spent some time in Covent Garden, went to see Spamalot and stopped into as many pubs as we could. Of course, the jump pictures continued! We had a delightful dinner with the some of the London Crowe's - Angela, Liam and Allison - and had a delicious Sunday dinner with Dave and Doreen Lambert. The pinching of the forehead was a new trick for the boys. Dave told them that when pinching, if you could still feel your forehead, you could have one more!!! Pinch away!! The Coe girls happened to be in St. Neots from Paris for the bank holiday weekend so we got together for dinner one evening. The connection between Matt, Kyle, Sam, Mel and Becky was instant - we laughed for hours before parting with a promise to get together the next evening! The young folks (Matt, Kyle, the Coe girls, Steve, his brother and Emma-Jean) go together while Mike and I had a quiet evening in. This will go down as one of the most memorable trips we ever had together! Until next time!
